Site/Maintenance/Environmental Engineer
ByAs the Site Engineer you will have responsibility for all site engineering and environmental activities, incorporating control and coordination of all site utilities including power, water, steam generation, air conditioning and gas. You will be responsible for the physical asset register, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and keeping abreast of changes in relevant legislation as it occurs, with a view to complying with ISO 14000.
You will have a passion for the environment and be able to demonstrate your ability to develop environmental strategies that ensure sustainable development. You will be responsible for managing budgets and some capital projects, with 1 direct report acting as support to your role. Excellent communication skills are paramount in your success and the drive to further develop with the business, as international opportunities are a real possibility.
You will be degree qualified in either an engineering or science discipline with a minimum of five years in a similar role within a manufacturing environment such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals or food/beverage manufacturing.
