Product Testing Technician – Whitegoods Appliance

With a reputation as one of the market leaders in the local Australian market, this medium size whitegoods product manufacturer is looking to appoint a Product Testing Technician for their highly dynamic R&D team in Sydney West.

Working in a state-of-the-art modern manufacturing facility, you will be required to set testing facilities, and to carry out various testing activities (including functional and accelerated-life testing) against specifications on new product prototypes to ensure that they  meet the required regulations and standards. You will work closely with the group’s in-house R&D engineers, and provide them testing reports, feedbacks, analysis and suggestions for design improvements. As also a part of your responsibilities, you will be required o liaise with relevant testing authorities to acquire product testing approvals.

Ideally, you have previously worked in a refrigeration and air conditioning trade, and have experience with  product testing. Familiarity with NATA  (or similar) testing procedures would be very well regarded. You will need to have a good analytical approach toward problem solving, good documentation and report writing skills.
