Civil Engineer- Wollongong

My client is a National Engineering Consultancy offering significant employee benefits whilst providing challenging projects and development and leadership opportunities. They are currently seeking an experienced (4 + years Within  Australia) Civil Engineer to join their Wollongong office to work on a variety of urban development projects including land development, roads, stormwater, civil works and residential subdivisions.

 This role will suit an ambitious Civil Engineer with a minimum of 6 years road design or suburban projects experience who is looking to progress within an organisation. You will have sound client relationship and project management skills and the capacity and desire to build your leadership capabilities and identify business opportunities. Your design expertise will be in either roads and pavements, stormwater drainage, water and wastewater or minor structures etc.

 Your responsibilities will include:

• Engineering design and project management
• Coordination with sub-contractors and contractors
• Governmental approval processes
• Identifying business opportunities

 To be successful in this role you will have:  

• Sound knowledge and experience working to NSW, RTA design standards for roads and highways
• 5+ years experience in the design of roads, stormwater drainage and associated civil works
• Sound experience using 12D and AutoCAD software packages
• Capability in stakeholder relationship management
• Leadership capabilities and project management experience
• Strong desire to develop and progress within an organisation
