Process Improvement Engineer – Manufacturing

Based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, our client is an international manufacturer supplying to the construction industry and have an enviable reputation, with locations worldwide they are able to offer exposure to leading edge technology and processes. With competition fierce, the business is always striving to improve processes and production output.

As a Process Improvement Engineer you will have the drive to develop and implement continuous improvement plans. Through your ability to successfully conduct trials and analyze data you will ensure process inefficiencies are minimized and appropriate plans are in place. With your excellent communication skills, both oral and written, you will develop sustainable operating standards, procedures and improve the fault finding abilities of process operators. 

As an individual you will be a degree qualified mechanical engineer with a minimum of  five years experience in a manufacturing environment in Australia. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, also being results focused and a determined engineer who strives to succeed and is able to adapt to changing environments. You will possess a working knowledge of CI  manufacturing tools such as 5S and SMED and have been responsible for their implementation in a manufacturing environment.
