Mobilisation Manager / Facilities Manager

Recognised as one of the leading provider of security systems and facilities management solutions in the country, this well established orgnaisation is looking to appoint a Mobilisation Manager for a major security systems design and construction project followed by a long term facilities management service contract for a major government institution based in Darwin.
Working in this long term permanent position, you will be overseeing all FM aspects of the contract during the design and construction phase to ensure all building services essential equipment installations and commissioning are to comply with specifications and to meet set time frames, within budget, and to meet client satisfactions. You will work together with the Site Project Manager to manage all related FM services variations.
It is expected that this person will take on a Facilities management role after the completion of D&C project, and as such this person will need to put in place an FM team prior to the completion of construction.

Country Manager – Business Development Focus

You will have proven and successful solutions sales and consultative selling experience with the ability to recognise, develop and close new business opportunities. Key ability to manage both sales and technical staff. Other key skills include:
- Minimum 3 years experience selling software solutions, preferably in insurance/financial space.
- Experience and key understanding of P & L management, budgets and forecasting.
- An advanced understanding of business processes and reporting.
- Experience in working as a programmer and/or project manager for software solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with top level management.
- Self-starter, who is self-motivated, and self-managed.
- Possess a proactive and solution driven outlook.
- Strong problem solving, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to see sales opportunities through to completion.

Operations Manager – Minerals Division

As the Operations Manager – Minerals Division, you will be charged with the responsibility of managing the projects and services division, incorporating Project Managers, Service Technicians and spare parts. You will provide direction to the PM’s as required and bring your experience in dealing with clients and ensuring successful project delivery within timeframe and budgetary constraints. As part of the aftermarket offering, you will also provide direction to the services division, ensuring the business is capturing services agreements and contracts.
The role is varied and challenging, you will bring your commercial and contractual experience to the role, having had exposure to negotiating contracts and minimising risk to the business. Intermittent travel may be required according to project requirements, both locally and internationally.
You will be a degree qualified engineer with a minimum of ten years experience in heavy industry and ideally have had experience in the supply of bespoke equipment to the mining and minerals industries. You will be able to illustrate your abilities to lead teams and mentor other engineers, possessing excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Your attention to detail is imperative and also demonstrated experience in managing budgets.

Project Engineer – Building Automation (BMS)

A well established provider of building management systems is looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their Townsville operation.
Working in a dynamic team environment, you will be responsible for the complete involvement in all engineering aspects of assigned projects including system engineering designs and configurations, software programming, writing up project documentation of BMS systems. You will need to plan, schedule, procure equipment, coordinate installation and commissioning activities with installation / commissioning technicians, and monitor costs to ensure profitability for the assigned projects.
Ideally, you should have a degree or diploma in either electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering and 3 to 7 years of experience working in system or project engineering capacity and within the BMS or building automation industry. You must possess good communication skill, written and verbal.
